Carlos Souffront, originally based in Detroit, now living in San Francisco, is considered to be one of the best DJs the Midwest has ever seen, a legendary figure of the 90s rave scene in the US. He has influenced at least two generations of DJs who would follow him and supposedly owns one of the most impeccable record collections of crazy Acid, early IDM and all kinds of weird music.
